Tony i have Albert Jacka on my ` to sculpt list` i read his exploits last year in one of the many books i had read and instantly put him down as a future sculpt.
I might just move him up the pile and look at a full figure of him.

I have been struggling all week trying to thin of input for this that didn't involve germans...
and I finally thought of a few that would definately be worth a figure!!!
The three family heads from the romance of the three kingdoms era of china's history.
I know that only paintings are avaiable of the historical heroes - but heck - that would make an awesome figure for sure!!!!!
#EDIT# damn I just noticed from the sales section that there already is one. Pegaso has done guan yu with red hare. Niiiice

My friends, your choices for "favourite historical personality whom you'd like to see a bust or a figure of" are most interesting ! Thanks for your comments.
I want to share some more images related to my own hero, King Albert - a WW1 cartoon of him and the Kaiser, and a picture of his monument in Nieuwpoort.
There is also a well known joke that goes around in Belgium about this monument, it goes like this :
The present-day Belgian King has a day off and visits the monument of his grandfather in Nieuwpoort.
Suddenly, the huge equestrian statue comes to life, and speaks with a deep rumbling voice : "Grandson, be a good boy, and be so kind to fetch me a new horse, please !!!".
The present-day Belgian King is in deep awe, can't believe that his heroic grandfather's statue has spoke to him, goes back to Brussels, and tells the Prime Minister of Belgium what happened; they decide to go to Nieuwpoort again together, to see if the statue would speak again ...
when both the King and the Minister stand before the statue, they are thunderstruck as they suddenly both hear a deep, rumbling, angry voice saying : "Grandson !!! You stupid f*ck, I told you to bring me a HORSE, not an ASS !!!!!"
