Glad to see you've got a new buddy, and I see you got him surfing the net already, but what I want to know is....... is when are you going to start the painting lessons?

This is my distraction. Mo, he gets everywhere. His hobbies are eating and sleeping

Made mistake of showing missus this thread. She insisted that I post a better picture.

His hobbies are killing grey squirrels, eating the ears of mice (honest) and fighting with a family of foxes who have been in our lane for years. This is him 12 this year, no sign of slowing down.

And thats when he is in a good mood, I suppose?

Cheers

The lord of all he surveys. He does not look as though anyone messes with him (y).

That's about as chilled as he ever gets. Worst incident of many was 6 years ago when he fought with one of the neighbours dogs. He got his side ripped open and the dog lost his right eye.
Honours about even, they now give each other a wide berth and me and my neighbour (good friend) fortunately had insurance policies.
The best laugh is that the dog occasionally walks into doors and corners :D

Man, I thought they grew big and nasty looking out here as desert ferals but no one would be safe with your "cutie"on the prowl.
Oh and you can let Mrs. Del know my wife and I have cancelled our tour of Scotland in favour of a quick trip through Afghanistan because it looks safer.

Hi Del

Mo isn't 3 yet, so it looks like we may get a few more surprises as he gets older.
He's certainly getting more confident though, the other local cats don't bully him anymore, he see's them off.
I think he's been watching " Rocky"

Gentlemen, this thread has cheered me up from losing an old dog and also fortified me for the trials and tribulations of new puppy training. It has also provided me with so much entertainment....Yorkies retrieving pigeons, cats that have a quarrel with the local fox family, I freaking love it! For once, one of my threads has spiraled in a good way! Thanks everyone. Cheers and beers. (y)

Steve, condolences and congrats... for your loss and your new gain.

I've been there too...

This is my old dog Karma, a Black Lab/Malamute mix. One morning, well into her 16th year, while we had our morning coffee in the back yard she took a severe stroke. We had to put the old girl down that day. That was four years ago this August. She is sorely missed....

It took about a year before we finally broke down and replaced Karma the dog... with Shooter the cat. Since then, we are convinced that Karma is actually reincarnated in Shooter... Many of Shooter's picadillos were also Karma's picadillo's. It can be a little creepy sometimes.

Ahhhh, boys and their pets...
