Hi guys ,

Finally got round to taking some pics , not the best but they both look a lot better in the flesh so to speak ( ie Albert Balls mouth is not at an angle and the flesh has lost a bit of the highs for instance!!) .

Reworked the medals on both wanted a difference in the uniform colour

Painted in Acrylics and water soluable Oils

I like the difference in uniform tones between the two figures Kev, a nice touch of the real world that.
Whenever you see a group of US WW2 guys they are painted in different kit, but many people seem to forget in WW1 there were variations in service dress colours too.

A really nice duo, have another medal mate.

Paul.

They make a very nice pair Kevin.
Having seen them up close, I can confirm that the ribbons look even better than in the photos.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Kevin,
You have done a fine job on these two busts, sharply painted and nice tones on the uniforms, Jame McCudden was the first kit we released back in 2008/2009.
Look forward to catching up with you at a show somewhere..

People often forget that at the outbreak of WW1 the British had a stock pile of Khaki cloth for uniforms but as this dwindled they needed to replace it. But the original cloth was died using a Germany die so they had to go to another supplier. And we all know that you cant match colours exactly so there is a difference between early uniforms and later ones. Plus the fading of uniforms due to wear and tear :)

I've seen these busts close up and I must say Kev's done a real neat & tidy job on both of them, picking out the detail very precisely nice one ..I mean two mate! (y)
Cheers
Jim
