Thanks guys for your comments.
Tony i cant think of a better compliment than the one you just made! Thank you mate.
Rob Pthalo Green is a transparent oil color, something like very bright bluish green. Most brands have it in their range.
Cassel earth is a semi-transparent very very dark brown, more like sepia if you like. I only found it in MaiMeri oils colors so dont know if other brands have it under that name.

another great paint job Dimitrios.is the flesh oils.

cassels earth is also known as vandyke brown.

Tzano, Alexandre and Martin thank you for commenting.
Martin everything except metals is with acrylics.
P.S. I have Vandyke brown form both Rembrandt and Winsor and Newton. Still Cassel Earth is more black than any of those two.

Hi Dimitrios,
I do echo all compliments on your painting above. Masterfuly handled flesh tones, every muscle is carefuly shaded and all in all it gives a great character to this fine bust. Congratulation to another masterpiece, Dimitri.
Keep us posted with your next projects, please.

Foxyboy the helmet was done starting with a black acrylic undercoat. Then i mixed gold ink with Winsor and Newton Vandyke brown. Applied lights and shadows and blended. Then for deeper shadows i used a mix of Vandyke brown, Pthalo green and Cassel earth with a stippling motion. Last for lights a mix of gold ink and pthalo green was used. Alot of blending and waiting for oils to dry in between!

Thank you for the info, much appreciated.
