Hi Marcus

You've certainly had a good day in the shed , another battle hardened character , sure plenty still to do ......nice shin wound

Like the fleshwork and different character on the figures

Your using Jo Sonja or LC ?

Great update

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Cheers mate, thank you. Doing figures this size is quite daunting as no hiding places. I’m hoping my paintwork passes quality test. I’m not finished with most the figures as need to touch up the oils add the shoulder armour and paint small details.

with regard the acrylics, I’m using mostly Jo Sonja for skin tones and mix of Lifecolour and Tamiya with mr Metal for armour, helmets and weapons.

Bit more painting of the Roman figures. I decided to put them all together to see what the overall scene is looking like. Still lots to paint and finish, including the base, but starting to see where it’s going now.

Brilliant work, I would find that many figures on the go overwhelming.

Cheers

Bill
Thank you Bill, when put all together it can be a bit daunting, the way I get over that is to work on a figure that I’m enjoying the most, then do a bit of something that needs doing but less interesting, then do something else to spark interest again. Like converting the new signifier as example, a late addition but then threw all my energy into that figure to then give me energy to paint the others.

This is a remarkable project and undertaking and I look forward to seeing the end result. Tremendous progress so far.
