    Book of Waterloo

Is this a second Waterloo book by Cornwell? I have one of his also titled "Waterloo Companion"... an overview of the campaign and the three battles with a lot of references from contemporary diaries. Not sure exactly when it was published but it's definitely not 2015. I like his writing style...

    Painter's block

My own lack of posts is evidence that I too am... Blocked. Tis the season? I've been wrestling with Ellie's Zouave pair for the last few weeks but I'm not sure how I feel about the current results. Very frustrating indeed! Prepped another fig last night... Maybe a change will get the juices...

    Plaster Sliding Off Plinths?

I use Apoxie clay or Magic Sculpt for groundwork... I generally scratch the hell out of the top of the wood then drill random 1/8" holes around the top on different angles. I apply a thin layer of MS, pushing it into the holes... before it sets I start adding more layers to build up the shapes...

    around the world

Fort York in Toronto, Ontario, Canada... Some sections of the refurbished Fort York as it was circa 1812. It's right in the center of downtown Toronto... so if you can, try to ignore the raised highway, the CN Tower and the ugly condos being built around it.:( Colin
