It's in Ayrshire,Scotland. It has a castle on the grounds which, was given to the Boyds by Robert the Bruce, for services rendered at the battle of Bannockburn.
It's also Robert Burns old stomping grounds.
What amazes me of the place, is that Tescos and other shops are only a 10 minute walk away,but when you enter the grounds of Dean Park,you're totally islolated from every day life,including any noise,other than natures own sounds.Peace and tranquility.

A wonderful show of nature's power. Also made a trip in the forest ... some areas impossible to pass his arm through the vegetation as it is thick,, beautiful and great places

Know it well the bridge over the river with the high drop in 2008 my wee terrier jumped up to look over the wall and ended falling over the wall and into the water a good distance down. He managed to walk away unscathed more due to the fact he landed on his side into a pool not even a mark on him.

I've just had to look that up but the average temp. for Bedale in November is 8 celsius Daniel. Twice this week it has been below freezing but nothing serious.

Some sections of the refurbished Fort York as it was circa 1812. It's right in the center of downtown Toronto... so if you can, try to ignore the raised highway, the CN Tower and the ugly condos being built around it.
