Aerobonus makes some very nice 1/48 WWI pilots in 1/48, including French, but I haven't seen a seated French pilot in that catalog. The only seated pilots I've seen from them is a pair of German/Austrian aircrew in heavy flight suits. I have a pair of their standing German and Austrian pilots...
