    Australian Infantry Vietnam 1966

Very nicely done yet again Tony. Only thing I would say about him is that his chest has just recently been waxed  Cheers, Daniel

Battleof Long Tan -Naked Army 315mm

Another nicely painted figure so far :) Sorry I haven't been able to see it in the last couple of weeks and also sorry for not being able to make it to the Figure club meeting either tonight. Also, just letting you know i'm still alive lol.. Also, I do keep watch of most of your paint ups...

    Bushfires in Australia

Seeing that second picture made me shiver... Just thinking of the firefighter who had lost (by the looks of it) everything. That is very scary though. By the looks of it, the fire isn't threatening any property at the moment and the death rate has increased to 181. Daniel..

    Jon Smith Poilu

A very nice figure indeed. Just my own personal opinion about it is that the skin looks very smooth.. It may just be the angle he is photographed at. Cheers, Daniel

Rememberance day - WW1 Australia Soldier

G'day Leo, Wlcome to the planet. It's nice to have another figure modeller in Perth :) Hmmm... I think I forgot to *cough cough* harrass my parents to buy the paper on rememberance day last year :D As for the figure, it's looking good for a start. As Tony told me very recently, it's a good...

a paint mixer for humbrol enamels ?

To mix any paints (and sometimes enamels for *cough cough* tanks) I use the plastic tea/coffee mixing spoons that we (my family and I) got on our trip to Hong Kong and back. We ended up getting about 16 in the end and are good for mixing paints. They are plastic and reusable. Also, I have...

Athenian Warlord 490 B.C. (additional paint job)

Awwww, not again, you have raised the bar for the quality of painting figures even more  But seriously, it is just done breathtakingly. Truley, I think many people will need to try and strive towards adding those smaller extra details to make this look almost 100%. Daniel

    54mm Andrea Rhonan Panther Claws

From what I can see, that figure meeds some Priming :p I like the look of that figure and I do agree with you, putting paint on him will make it stand out more ;) Also, what company made the figure? Daniel

120mm GW Giant (Not for the faint hearted)

Well once I finish my current project and the French Currasier, I might get one of these guys. Really depends on what happens at the time. I am slowly making the switch to vallejo paints but if I knew they where good in the first place, I wouldn't have bought Citadels. Vallejo Game colour is...

120mm GW Giant (Not for the faint hearted)

Wow, you bought this back from the dead. The skin tones are done AMAZINGLY! All I would like to know though is, what and how did you paint the cloth covering his a**? Daniel

Villanovan Warrior (new pictures) by Alexander

:eek: That sculpting is unreal. The legs of that.. that thing are so realistic. Your paintjob didn't do anything else but make this figure look better. Excellent work. Daniel

Wow, I enjoyed watching the movie (ages ago) and I think you have done and execellent job on this vignette. Will this ever come onto the market? Daniel

    Paint adhesion!

I like to use Tamiya's white primer then use a very fine wet and dry to slighty scratch the surface up so that then the paint can stick a bit better. Hope this helps, Daniel

    Lucky Jack - Finished

Wow, another quick model. There getting done faster and faster :) After seeing the 2nd set of pictures, I he looked much better with a lower ISO? (light exposure). I particularyly like the face of him the most and the unclean shaven look. Daniel

Latley I have been taking pictures with a white background but I guess that the colour of my current model isn't on the darkside anymore :O Also though, thanks for that tip aswell Janus. Daniel

    15th Century German Knight W.I.P

That was one of the figures I was planning on getting next! I was deciding between getting hime or the French Dragoon. Also, I would like to accept your offer. Out of all honesty, I look at both yours and Chris Walden's Figures and say, "I would like to paint like that one day". I know it will...

    15th Century German Knight W.I.P

Thanks everybody for the advice. Today I primered the shield but haven't taken any pictures yet (only because it's white and isn't really anything interesting). With the skin tones, thats where i reeaalllly need to thank tony. He showed me the basics and alot more on how to paint faces. As...

    15th Century German Knight W.I.P

Haha, speak of the devil, I'm using your heraldy Tommi. Just about the Heraldy, I have just recently applied it and am going to soon do that next step onto it. With the highlights and shadows, after now looking at them more closley, i realise I could put more shadows onto him but the highlights...

"Gold Autumn" - Imperium Miniatures Review

A very different figure indeed. I like him simply because he is not holding a gun and it is just in a different mood to alot of other historical models.
