Review Medieval knight from RP Models

Hello, Sorry for the late response, only now have access to the bench again. So here's the figure next to another 75mm, guess it's about 65mm eye to foot. Since I was planning to display this one single anyway I don't really mind, however I have now ordered the 120mm version which arrived today...

    Swiss halberdier

Probably both based on the cow costume depictions in the Battle of Grandson 1476 by Diebold Schilling the Younger. I really like the signal horn in this one.

    Looks great Cyrill

    WIP Belle of the Nile

I think the piece on the left is part of her collar (on the back)...not sure about the right one, an earring perhaps?

Us "Corporal Jones " type painters.

I'm 38 and started with 36. There are a lot of young people (Gen Z/Millennials) who paint figures but more in the fantasy/sci fi genre and they stick to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Reddit rather than classic forums like PF.

Review Medieval knight from RP Models

Thanks for the review. I ordered the "75mm" version from ElGreco a while ago which unfortunately came in 60mm and with some missing detail on the visor. Also, in the original post of the sculptor it says it represents a Knight at the Battle of Visby, not Aljubarrota. I suppose it would work...

English knight. Battle of Poitiers from Panzerart

There's old postings about them on r/modelmakers and britmodeller too so I don't expect any improvement in the future. Most of us don't even mind waiting for the order, it's the complete lack of communication that's the problem. They could do it in Polish for all I care, just something so the...

English knight. Battle of Poitiers from Panzerart

I got mine after two months or so (like a week after opening a PayPal dispute) They'll ship eventually, when they feel like it.

    Samurai, mounted with Jumonji-Yari

Thanks everyone! Yeah definitely, Bill isn't wrong about the addictive part, during the process I've also ordered Takeda Shingen from Revolution Miniatures and some of the more accurate Pegaso and Poste Militaire classics :angelic:

    Samurai, mounted with Jumonji-Yari

Hello everyone Here's my first attempt at both a Non-European figure and a horse, so very much new territory for me. It is 75mm resin from Revolution Miniatures. Cyrill Click to enlarge

Resilience - 75mm from Scientific Models

Really like it, reminds me of a Studio Ghibli film somehow

    ASSASSIN ...

Thank you, think I'm going to order their King & Queen. Really wish for more figures representing late medieval courtly fashion, the minnesinger from Altores Studio has been my favourite thus far.

FeR French Line Infantry Lieutenant 1870

Great work. I also recently got a bottle of that AK Ultra Matt Varnish and it really is amazing stuff. Much better than the janky Vallejo matt varnish for brush application. Cyrill

    GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS, 1632

Great work! After Wallenstein and Gustav Adolf I'm hoping for a Tilly figure from Alexandros...he dominated the early stage of the war. Cyrill
