Hello,
I'd like to show You the sculpting process of D-Day Miniature Studio new figures in 1/35 scale. One is British despatch rider and second figure will be British Military Policeman.
I am using Miliput Standard and tools like clay shapers, toothpick and needle.
First figure the British despatch rider:
The armature is made of wire and two shaped blocks of putty. As You can see the Rider has an early war canvas soft helmet. Because these two figures will represent 1942-45 period and I didn't find any materials, pictures where such "flying" helmet could be used in late war period (so I think it is possible), I will prepare the second head for that figure wearing standard british motorcycle helmet. Ok here are the pictures. Hope you like it. Any comments are welcome!
Next I made breeches and socks:
To be continued...
Best regards
Pawel
