I had completed this about a week ago but was waiting on some bases, these have arrived.
This was a pleasure to paint but a nightmare putting the sword slings on and getting to fit properly. I am quite pleased with the result though. Acrylics and oil. I had an extra back pack, so made some straps with lead foil.
Thanks for looking
Regards
Bob

I'm watching you carefully here you know Bob, I know you are working down their list so.......:cautious:
I've been studying the metal modeles catalogue and memorising the pics.
If you start taking shortcuts and just posting their pictures, I will know:D
I am looking forward to your next one mate;)

The metal modeles are well cast and I think great mini's. I painted the first one several years ago ( the infantry sapper) and have always loved em.
Well your in for a treat cos the next one has just been undercoated. Foot grenadier of the Guard in Greatcoat.
Your comment is appreciated, thank you
Regards
Bob
