Another late night, painting parallel lines, then this morning some shading using this time Davy's Gray Artist's oils.
Will let this dry, then add some highlights.

I managed to get some acrylic pearl medium in town today and mixed some with the Vallejo Green Ochre I used for the cross-belt and lacing, I lightly applied some to give a slightly shiny effect. I think its worked.

He is now finished, I am really pleased with the way he looks and I have certainly learnt a few things on this journey.

On to the next one, Stormtroopers Border Reiver, Battle of Solway Moss, 1542, a nice Carl Reid bust
