Sometimes it is not a question of being 'Pushed away by some'. Moreover a question of accepting some 'Critique', and learning to move on without taking personal offence.
This was Ralph's call and his decision to make, and not the fault of anyone else. I am glad he has found a site, that suits his requirements.
I this harsh? quite possibly! This post could easily blend into another thread, which highlighted the 'Brutal Honesty section', (Or lack of it).
Do we have to tread on 'Egg-Shells'.! in order to pacify?
I have copped some 'Flack', in the past, and clearly in the very near future.

Ralph, himself has verified that this site is not for him, and has found another more suitable option. Good for him!

in all earnestness I respect your decision - some people are much too ready to make comments personal and vindictive. I hope you master and control your condition and one day will return to share with us. I for one can but wish you all the very best.

This has all the hallmarks of what made Ralph cease to be active on the site in the first place.
I don't think it was any particular issue with critique that bothered him, rather the ridiculous pedantry followed by the inevitable slanging match.
Now I for one rather like a rammy but I can see where the site can provide a haven for others to interact with fellow modellers in a supportive and constructive environment. When things get out of hand it's always going to effect different people in different ways for different reasons.

On the contrary I really don't like Sardinia and certainly will never go back there , overpriced rip off place and poor quality service everywhere .
