Hello All,
Here,s some paint on the figure so far ,still a long way to go yet.Using Vallejo paints with some others in the mix.Comments welcome.

Looks great so far - is this to be a commercial piece as well or a one-off?
Did you also sculpt the horse as that is also very convincing?

This is a great piece of painting , can you share your tecniques for the uniform colour if you are able .
The horse is going to be stunning as well , I like the way you have started by laying on the shadows , subtle , horses are something I can only look at in awe ...glad I do busts !!!!!!

Thanks for the comments,About 5hours have gone into painting the horse so far.Im combining washes of colour and stark piment for some highlights with a small brush.I used a long haired brush to paint in and follow the lines of the horses musculature working in layers of mixed colour.I changed the brown slightly too since posting.will send more pics soon.
