Hi All,
I have worked on the Death comes to Onderlangs piece, I have fixed the fence and shrubs so I could finally get the Para positioned and
finished. Just need to let it fully dry as I forced a few things.
cheers
Richie

Just catching up with all the updates mate, you have been busy, Polish project looks great now with some colour being added. Para hung up on the railing is really coming along now, going to be a cracker when done.
Cheers mate

Hi All,
I have made some really good progress with the Dutch underground vignette, the figures are more or less finished need to tidy up a few bits. I was going to close up the jacket on the German as in the photo but liked it the way it was.
The rough groundwork done and a couple of trees roughed out. Will need to let everything set and dry before continuing this piece so off for a painting session on the Polish Para's.
cheers

Hi Richie

My goodness your busy , what’s not to like the Polish looks great painted up , the partisan works really well , look forward to seeing more on that

The Onderlangs one is very moving and a clever piece of modelling showing just how much a single figure can portray

ALL credit to Neil for his help

Look forward to seeing more ...this is going to be one amazing display when all finished

Have fun @ the bench

Wow, not often I'm inspirational, so well chuffed. Nice little vignette and good interaction and movement between the figures, another reminder of the grim reality of warfare.

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon,
Thank you, well you have been very inspirational and I would like to make another one or two of the scenes in the future.
cheers

Wow, more great progress, you really are a glutton for punishment!

One thought if I may. In the vignette of the two guys fighting, I would try to tweak the positioning of the figures so they are looking directly at each other. It may be the photos, but to me it looks like the para is looking down at the German's chest, which you definitely wouldn't do if the guy is attacking you with a knife. I'm assuming these are only temporarily in position prior to painting anyway, so it should be an easy fix.
