Amazing and difficult offer, Borek, especially if you'll be "assaulted" (is already visible) with too many interesting options!
May I dare to provoke myself with these Romanian and Greek suggestions:
1. Phanariote princess, Wallachia, 18th Century.
2. Dinca Schileru (in an amazing traditional habits of Gorj district), Romania, 1880.
3. Heterist, Greece 1821.
4. Alexander Ypsilantis (in Sacred Band uniform), 1821.
Cheers,
Nicolae

Excellent suggestions(y) . Thanks for participating, Nicolaos .

We ask all other participating, in order to meet max number of three suggestions. Many thanks to all;) . Cheers Borek

Just choose for Christ's sake :) hehehe

:D

The Artful Dodger would be fairly easy to do in 72 hours with your skills.
Brian

Artful Dodger a very interesting suggeston, but that the problem is in what you wrote. It's too easy for this bet. The stakes comes to a lot, and Jirka watches that figure was sufficiently complex. The selected figurine must agree we both.

But it is not yet decided. Sending of suggestions will be until 28 January at eight o'clock in the morning CET. In the following 12 hours, we then select one of the suggested charracters.
Cheers Borek

Indeed a great idea...
According to the all-knowing Wikipedia: "The Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro is a world famous festival held before Lent every year and considered the biggest carnival in the world with two million people per day on the streets. The first festivals of Rio date back to 1823.[1]"

1823. Now that should count as something with a lot of history behind it. So, what about we leave behind the helmets and the muskets and the guns and the swords and the bows and the arrows and try something a little more exotic?

If only we can keep those hands and brushes steady...;)

Hi Borek,
Here's someone else that I think deserves to be immortalized in 54mm resin:

I hope you agree there :p. Cheers!
Kenneth.

Maybe a bust of Mother Teresa will be a better idea especially starting of such photo. But anyway, very nice idea!

Aha, tak ted uz chapeme, co jsi tim myslel:woot: , leccos to vysvetluje:D. Fantasticky projekt, jsme zvedavi, jak to dopadne. Je tu spousta skvelych navrhu. My si prihodime taky tri zelizka do ohne:).

Actually pretty much anything would be relatively simple to do in 72 hours for an experienced sculptor who can work efficiently ....I am not sure I get the bet. Sorry

Interesting idea, Kenneth, but unfortunately will not pass about selecting the sake of simplicity, though his face would be challenging. Bust would certainly be preferable. Even so, many thanks for the suggestion.

Výborně děcka, zajímavý návrhy. Uvidíme, dík za přispění.;)
Well done kids, interesting suggestions. We will see, thanks for contribution.

Hi Colin:) . Thanks for comment. In all right, not should be sorry. However, Jirka also previously worked as a sculptor, and is aware of this fact. And so we have agreed that we will choose only sufficiently complex proposals to ensure that this challenge would make sense. And also the requirements for final sculpting quality of all aspects and details will be very strict. That is why we chose this portal to local members could codecision whether I win or whether I do not deserve victory.
In fact, I'm getting a trifle nervous. And the clock is ticking:D
Anyway, we both thank all those who gave their suggestions, and we also hope that you stay till the end and help decide the outcome of the bet. Cheers Borek

Ten days yet ...

I agree that it deserves rather bust. Good idea.
My suggestion is lokalpatriotic. I would like to see Janosik.
National hero - outlaw.

I would like to suggest,
1. one of the seven archangels
2. A tribal king from the south pacific or similar region
3. how about an average person. I know this is very vague, but this could be from any nationality, time frame, etc. for example, the character of Tom Joad from The Grapes of Wrath.
A very interesting thread and challenge.:)

Ahoj Offo. Není to úplně nečekaná volba, napadlo mě, že by to mohla být jedna z možností, kterou zvolíš:). Díky za návrh.
Hi offo. It's not entirely unexpected choice, I thought it might be one of the options that you choose :). Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Tom:) . Because you did not place images, we have found it. So that we have the selection of visual material. We ask others to suggestions supplied by at least reference imagery. Thanks so much everyone. Cheers Borek

Hi Borek,
My final suggestion for this rather engaging sculpting thread: Private Barney Hines, the so-called "Souvenir King" of World War One. Cheers!
Kenneth.

Very well, Kenneth. Outstandig theme and dignified challenge with all the war junk. Definitely one of our favorites(y) . Thanks so much for your participation and excellent suggestion. Will be included to selections for sculpting with all-collection objects. Cheers Borek

Hello everyone. There are only 5 days to start of sculpting, and my nervousness rises proportionally with the deadline approaching. I bought some necessary things for this sculpting marathon, specifically the large pixel of coffee and three cartons of Energy drinks:D (by agreement is permissible doping:happy: ). I prefer the next 5 days doing nothing and just garnered stronger, but unfortunately it is not possible, so I try not to think about it too much and relax whenever you can. I have some health problems, but nothing stops me ...:D Well ... I'm curious myself how it turns out. Cheers Borek

Hope to be not so stressed, you have some excellent dynamic choices, and the final result should compensate all effort.
Good luck and good hand!
