I have the pkeasure to share the priviledge I had a couple of months ago of visiting the private collection of one of the most famous collectors in our world, and could hold in my hands and photograph some of the masterpieces of Bill Horan....posting photos here below.....it was a real emotion

Can someone help me to identify the Scots Greys figure shown on the far left side of the picture.
I assume it is a scrtach built one.

It's not only the peasantry, such as myself, who are inspired by Bill's work. It's commercial figure designers as well. That Light Company officer at the back, whom I'd never noticed before, is the Troop54 release:

There must be loads of others. Off the top of my head, there's the Beneito subject of two lancers carrying a cherry-bum. Which came first? The Bill or the Beneito?

Can you think of any others?

Bill did it at first!In the bypackpaper the creator of that vignette give a great thanks to Bill Horan for his inspiration..........
