Channel More 4 ran three brilliant programs last night , the first at 8pm Fact or Fiction looked at the true Richard 3rd , dispelling much of the myth created by William Shakespeare who wrote and twisted history mainly to please the Tudor monarch at the time Elizabeth 1st . Richard wasn't a hunchback although he did suffer from a curvature of the spine and in general was a damn good king

It is often said that history is written by the victors which may well be the case with how we see Richard III.

I did Derek and sold it to an American collector,you've got some memory.Unfortunately i can't find any pictures of him but i did have them.

If these are indeed the remains of Richard III then I understand that there might be a forensic reconstruction of his facial features based on the skull. This might be a great opportunity for a decent figure or bust (yes please) to be released.

Mixed feelings - on the one hand, as a figure modeller, I see here - after they completed the reconstruction of the face and body - an opportunity for a good sculptor or several sculptors to sculpt a likeness of a medieval personality. We also know enough about the correct armour and weapons of the period, so this could be a good opportunity for someone to sculpt a 120mm or 1/16 figure (I like that scale) of Richard III at Bosworth Field.
On the other hand - feel a bit sorry for this guy, apparently even after being dead for centuries a monarch is pursued by paparazzi ...

Now I also say, Stop ! I've seen enough figure kits of templars, teutons and maltezers how many are there in fact ?

Actually! what tickled me, was the fact he was behind the Social-Service's, dept!.... I have heard of 'long-waiting lists', ... but 500 yrs, before getting an appointment is pushing an individuals patience!!
