He is starting to come together now , just doing the lace work , blacked out the medals ready! ...going to revisit the uniform a bit after I have done the lace
...then it's "just" the aguilette , handy pandys, the weapon and then a little matter of the medals ...only a couple..lol
Oh and then the base ..this is on the way this weekend thanks to Pete Watson from "Petes Bases"

Reckon it must happen to others but I get to a certain point in painting and it all seems to start go come rtogether quickly

Hi Guys ,
Couple of updates....
Sash now complete decided to keep it to a red rather than striped ..on the orders of SWMBO!!!
All Black lacing done (collar, back etc)
After a very long session all the medal ribbons are now done ...I can almost see the finishing line now
The China medal is actually a Yellow ribbon with Blue lettering , pleased with the ribbons now ...lol
Next up is the actual medals and the neck order
Shoulder cords and epaulette then the sleeve lacing
then hands

Yesterday added some lace around the cuff , Jimbo added the cuffs in between hiding the biccies ! ...went for a blue cuff with black edging then the lacework ..., the blue adds a bit of colour rather than all red ....in some reference I have as well!
Also pleased to say the base from PETE'S BASES ( Pete Watson) has arrived, together with nameplate ...cracking job and excellent service and quality
