The scale is 1/16 scale, close to 100mm. In this case being a young man/boy he is slightly shorter making him close to 90mm

I was a drummer myself in my Teens Mike so they feature quite well in my collection.....I think I am a better painter than I ever was drummer so that will tell you just how bad my drumming was.....LOL...but I spend hours on Youtube watching the old masters, Krupa, Morello, and the ultimate showman Buddy Rich........some of the modern guys are pretty good too...LOL

The black kettle drummer is a late 19th century idea, for this regiment there were two young white men and Victor Barre was one of them...
But thanks for the color plates, great reference and inspiration for the uniforms!
