The sculpting is excellent. Why only one chevron when the photo shows three? I can only hope that this could be commercially available. A pair of legs would be good (perhaps from the Guardsman I did for Gordon?), so would the options of a service cap or home service helmet.

Sone good options you've suggested , this is a one off though unless Jimbo wants to sculpt another !!!

Regarding your question .......the 3 cheverons were only on the left arm , the Colour Sgts had a single and thinner cheveron below the actual crossed swords , there are references in the thread as well

Hi everyone

Spent last night painting the sash .......just kept looking at it ......again and again !

...it looks too flat more like a crossbelt ...so out came the putty and put some creases on .....now looks better and more volume ......waiting for putty to fully dry ...then ....away we go .....

All part of the hobby fun

Hi everyone

Couple of iffyvision pics ( click on for larger images )

Now rebasecoated all lacework , buttons , belt etc using Reaper leather white and a Lt stonework gray , also put a quick brown on the hair

Going to push the shows a little on the sash and the uniform

Hi everyone

Verbal update

Good day at the bench yesterday ...repainted the uniform colour and the facings as well as the belt and sash ...now happier !

Also did all the white lacing on the cuffs and collar ...epaulettes are next , then the rear of the tunic , then the buckles, buttons .....

Then the face and hair .....then the hands ...and it will be done !

Pics to follow once I've done a bit more ! ...oh and when the Iffyvision film crew come back from coffee break !

Oh no he's not !!

Wasn't happy with the buckle .....wrong style ...so off it came ! ......now waiting for putty to go off to finish it off!

It's all down to Jimbo for the main putty pushing ....I added a few things !!

Nearly finished the new belt buckle ...just the crown to do !.....oh and paint it

Hopefully the fleshwork will bring it all together

The union Javks took a while ...lol

Might just go back and work a bit on the laurel leaves badge ...but only with paint ...nothing else will change !
