Great work my friend, i really like the work on the tunic and facings and white teim.
Question, wouldn't be the blue facings a tad darker?

Just needs some legs - you could use one of the pairs I did for my Guardsmen for Gordon Mitchell.

Added folds and creases to the sash ...far too flat initially .....was more like a belt ...not any more !

Nap

Yes Nap, I just thought it may flatten toward the shoulder.
Brilliant figure all the same

I was trying to decide from looking at the picture at the beginning of your thread to how it is now.

Only my opinion which as ever is not ment to offend.

Well...it obviously didn't look that good

..it niggled me !,,......

So .......image.jpeg image.jpeg

The belt and buckle came off as well .....but hey !!!....GOOD NEWS ....the epaulette is safe and sound

Onwards and upwards as they say

Today I shall be mostly mixing putty ....LOL

Happy benchtime

I thought the belt looked fine. Sashes, even in those years, were relaitively flat. Apart from the lack of legs (!), I thought it looked good as was.

Hi Mike

The belt came off when I did the sash!! .need to look at the portrait more , it looks flatter at top and fuller towards the middle/ lower

Going yo look for pictures of sashes being worn from this period

It will look better ......even without legs....lol
