Yes YOU !!!!...you icon of fashion

Verbal update ...been researching the belt using these pictures and others , there was a brass piece missing to the right and left of the retaining straps at front ......now in place

Also repositioned the buckles on these pieces .......

All buckles done and in place ...leaving to dry fully then it's the centre piece and surround and carefully drill out the holes

More tommorow ..inbetween review(s) ...inbetween social distancing shopping

Good call on the sash, I had not really noticed, but looking back at ghe photos it was a bit thick on the shoulder. at least you can work on it ag a nice, tidy bench - I remember having one of those, many years ago!!

Hi everyone

Bit of a Iffyvision update

Belt nearly done ..., little bit of tidy up on the outer buckle , then add centre and lion and crown

Once the sash is in place and I am happy then where the layers of paint have lifted I will need to fill in slightly .....then it will be a repaint of the tunic .....

It's all going to be worth it !

Happy benchtime

Cheers
Jim

Cheers Jimbo ....it looks messy overall but with new basecoat done will bring it all together ...letting it fully dry now ....

Also have finished the epaulettes and insignia on them and redid the piping at the rear of the tunic as well as using Miliput to level where the paint layers came off

Off to basecoat Rollet ...bit puttied out at the moment ...lol

Happy benchtime
