As you can see it is a French Dragoon circa 1805; The picture was painted by the artist Gabrio Poiana.
The interesting thing is the fact that the painting style is that of the first half of 18th century Europe, in this you can recognize very clearly painters such as Dettaile, Messonier, Grollerone,ect.
The research, besides the precision of the uniforms and the proportions,
You can also see the truly expressive typical European style.
This picture is an anticipation.
It is part of a collection composed of another 20 painted by yours truly, reproduced , that tell the story of the Dragoons that fought with Napoleon from his first campaign in Italy up to the Battle of Waterloo.
The Idea is to preserve a style destined to vanish with only a few masters surviving Lelliepvre,Conrad,Rusellot.

I'm presently building the Mayflower ship 1/96 scale produced by Airfix.
I lost the instructions that come with the kit, if any body has a copy of these instructions, can you please e-mail them to me , would really appreciate it.

This is an example about the quality of the project
10 on a total of 20 prints will be painted by mine, all about the French Dragoons.
This is the first project, the next one will be about another
famuos french napoleonic reggiment; and so go on.
The print wil be available on April, May, 2006 circa.
