To be honest, I like the armless hand, it’s different. There was (is) a little chip in the spear head but it goes with the ‘rustic’ painting of the shield lol.
I have considered doing a tattoo design on the head but worried I might mess it it up so will practice a bit. I am one of those that have never watched Game of a Thrones, Vikings or any other of these ‘Hollywood’ interpretations of history. I just find them uncomfortable to watch but I did google for a few pictures so have ‘reference’ material to hand
