Hi All
I'm still going through the "can't be bothered finishing a figure syndrome" so i've been using my time painting this face. He's back in the box as i've started painting a 75mm face and i might just finish the figure this time ,but i've said that before! At least i'm keeping my brushes wet until this malaise of mine passes,i hope.

can't be bothered finishing a figure syndrome

Lucky you , I am at the cant be arsed picking up a paint brush stage, even after buying about 8 kits at Perth model show a few weeks back.
I seem to have become a collector of unpainted models, not a modeller.
Ebay beckons for a lot of my kits I'm afraid.

Good luck anyhow, try watching a good film about period/era of one or more of your models for inspiration.

Hi Brian
I can understand you very well.I've suffered that same syndrome before...
I only can say I LOVE the face you've got and, please,go on with the rest oif the figure until it's finished...
My suggestion would be,try to get a stronger contrast on the facial hair.It would improve the overall effect...
Keep it on ;)

Skin tone is all wrong for a "malaise-ian" figure. :)

Wonderful job

from Colin (who hasn't lifted a brush or sculpting tool in > 2 years). I feel your pain.
