A Fixture
Hi Folks
Finally decided to start clearing some of the unfinished projects in the cabinet. This is the first one from Tartar Miniatures, Frederico de Montefeltro XVc, 75mm resin.
The kit itself was not to bad with about an hour spent on cleaning up and sorting out a few seam lines but still a nice figure kit.
The armour is painted in darkstar molten metal paints for the base coat and finished off in oils for the weathering and dark areas. Flesh was painted in a cheap set of oils that I got from a local discount store, think I paid about £3 for a full set, all went on really well and dried matt within a few days. Not done any oil painting for several years so was happy to give it a go again with this budget oil set.
The base work is made of milliput with some grass tufts and a few flowers to brighten it up.
I really enjoyed working on this piece and have all the others in the range but will be a while before starting them as a few more part projects to finish off.
Any comments good or bad most welcome.
Cheers
