Nice work Kev. I just HAVE to get this bust. It's not listed on the A-M page on Historex. I guess A-M will supply direct.
I've got their Colonel Du Pin 75mm figure (arrived today) and it is excellent. He's got gongs but only a few. I will SBS it.

I am about to post Bigeard in "Completed" - I notice Akaryu spoke of a Bigeard with full gongs on his wish list back then. Maybe Offo read the post

The Dupin was a couple of years ago , certainly paint differently now ....able to do lots on it to correct but yours is 75 and a lovely figure

Been working hard and very close on the left side of this bemedalled fellow ......, quite pleased with the result .....onto the right side next....once finished I will repaint the uniform colour ...... ...then its time for fleshwork on this Nungesser and the Top Gun Commander !!!

Looking at the colour photos, I think the closest to the right colour is the area on the left chest above the medals. I reckon I'd look to achieve that using English Uniform Khaki, lightened with Off White and a tiny touch of Brown Pink, all Vallejo. Don't take my word for it though. I will check it later when I'm back at the bench and will report back.
