It not the law - only one variant for height base figures.
" Gold proportion " = 1, 618.
We frequently see around use of this proportion.

I wouldn't read too much into this folks. The golden ratio occurs naturally in many things but plenty of analyses of artworks work too hard to fit the neat theory to them. Many of the examples in the pics posted are good examples: the Parthenon (notice the smaller rectangle doesn't align with anything of significance) and the Apple logo.

You can use it certainly, but artistically plenty of things that 'work' - are aesthetically pleasing - don't conform to the ratio.

The eye proportions given above are also worth noting - obviously people vary enormously to begin with, but it's actually extremely common for the eyes to be just about one eye width apart; have a look at many drawing guides to confirm.

Einion certainly it only the point to make a start.
Probably examples set.
You are right! - " You can use it certainly, but artistically plenty of things that 'work' - are aesthetically pleasing - do not conform to the ratio. "

But to refuse also it is not true.
Yours faithfully.

Always there is an academic perception and aesthetic.
