This is an absolutely wonderful piece! The cloak and surcoat seem to have texture that makes them look like fabric. It's a great contrast to the metals of the sword, helmet, and chain mail. I don't think it's too dark - rather it has a dark and foreboding mood.

I do think you could add a touch of mud or snow to te bottom of his cloak. Just an idea... :lol:
