Hi Marc,
I am sure that you could do this as well.........have you ever tried? If you choose to have a go I would be happy to help you.
As for making a master, I have not got the first clue how to go about it or market it commercially.
Thank you for your kind comments
Keith
I think Steve Kirtless gonna help you with that.....
Don't know if Carl let it happen (thinking about the law etc).
And no, i never tried to do this, but when i see your's my hands wanna do this....but my mind said.... you don't have the skills.

Marc

Hi Marc,
I really do not think that it is quite ethical to do that, with or without Carl's permission and like you my mind says "you don't have the skills". I am sure that there is more to commercial figures than just shaping a few pieces of milliput.
As for you trying to convert a figure; you do not know if you have the skills until you try. So why not have a go? Start off with small changes and see how you get on. Why not start by filling in the back of Carl's figure. This way you only have to do the tunic with it's seems and the belt.

Hi Guys,
Just to give you a brief update on my extension to Carl Reid's Gordon Highlander Sergeant.
Compared to the out put of some of you fine fellows it is taking what feels like an age.
I have not done any real work on; hands,Kilt, kilt apron, hose tops and flashes..Oh and very little of the ground work.
The MK1 SMLE rifle is just about complete but is still a bit wet to be moved about too much.

Hi Roger,
Many thanks. I am not too sure on the photography, I need to read up some of the advice on the planet. My only wish is that I could paint at the size the pictures come up to when posted here.
Will post more pics soon.

Cheers
Keith
