I do like how the trumpeter is coming along, good attention to detail which is not the easiest at that scale.

Cheers Melanie, I like this scale for one it's bigger than 1/35th, just! And two anything bigger would be too big for me, the few larger figures I have done were fun but the size just feels uncomfortable for me. So I need to hope my eye sight lasts and keep having the eye injections, just the thought makes my toes curl!

You are correct, only the Brits held both reins. The French cavalry only held the bit rein, you can clearly see this in contemporary prints. Bryan Fosten famously got this wrong in one of the Historex catalogues and M. Leliepvre had to add a correction.....

Many thanks Nigel, I'm having an issue with his right arm, the upper arm looks too long. The measurements are right, I think it is that his shoulder is slightly forward and his wrist is bent making the forearm look short. I'm hoping not to have to build a new one.
