My next project, the last of my 1/15 Historex busts.

This did require a bit of prep as the sides of the head, from neck to jaw line were not moulded very well with distinct steps so I had to get the putty out and re model it slightly. This was the first time I had done this so quite pleased I got away with it. Here is the bust after a prime of Tamiya light grey.

Hi Graham

Nice bit of puttywork on the face ...a difficult and daunting area to work on

Look forward to more on this

Happy benchtime

And finished he is. Quite enjoyed this but I have to be honest and say that the face moulding seriously let’s this bust down as the rest is very nice. At this scale, 1/15, I don’t have the corrective skills to sort out the rough casting but no excuses, it is what it is and I had real fun painting it and that is all that counts to me.

All painting in artists acrylic with a thin coat of Daler Rowney acrylic matt varnish

Many thanks for the comments(y)
