Here are a few photos of the completed Pegaso 90mm metal 13c Hospitaller.
He's mainly painted in acrylics, with oils being used for the leatherwork.

Very nice finish on a classic figure. I especially like the tarnished effect on his helmet.

I agree with Simon, one of my favourites of yours. I really like the way you handled the cloak and you have really executed the different materials very well. It's a cracking piece, well done!

Stunning piece Malc, among my favourite pieces I have seen of yours, really love this.

Cheers Simon
Thanks Simon, Despite the odd challenges, this was a very enjoyable pieces to work, and going by the feedback, it looks to
have turned out ok. :)

Thanks Steve, just shows some of the old school techniques can stand the test of time.
I daresay I'll be using it again.

Malc, yet again another nice 'piece' from you. For me I really like the detail on the axe, shield and shoulder rope. Nothing overly stands out.......all areas blend well together. I hopeI will get to see this 'in the flesh' this coming Saturday?
Regards,
Kim

Hi Kim, Yes I'll be bringing him to the club on Saturday along with my latest project.
Glad you like it. :)

Smashing work Malc, I really struggle with black so your highlighting and shading is particularly impressive to my eye. I also really like the way you do metal, it's really effective and somehow has a 'weight' to it that other techniques lack.
