A little late, but anyway..
Love these figures and the Idea is great. I'm as usual impressed how you manage to come up with all great ideas and then so easy fullfill them. Beautiful work all over, from poses to details like the hat on the ground. Now just pick up the paintbrushes and do your magic.

Best regards /lars

Hi guys and thank you very much. It is great to get your feedback!

Sorry for my late reply, Chris. I am using Magic Sculp. I have been using it for quite some years now and got really fond of it (y)

btw, here is a picture of the crossbow. I forgot to post it earlier.

Funny how you can carry on watching a forum, blithely unaware that something brilliant is taking shape :(, this is absolutely magnificent (y)(y)(y).
What is the story with the female character because the pose looks young girl but the face looks old hag? Is "she" supposed to be a man disguised for ambush?
Best wishes, Gary.

Thanks guys!

Interesting reflection Gary. I guess it is up to the eye of the beholder to decide if it is a man or a woman. It was however not my aim to make a transvestite :D
My intention was to create a gaunt old woman, and to be honest, I am just happy I managed to complete the figure at all! As I mentioned earlier, this is my first attempt at sculpting figures and I was far from curtain that I would finish any of them in a decent manner.

cheers

Hi everybody,

Once again, thank you for all your feedback guys, it is much appreciated.

I just finished painting the first peasant and like to share it with you. Since all the peasants are supposed to be very poor looking, my aim was to keep the overall colours dull and non garish. However, since this particular figure is one of the main characters, I tried to make it stick out the best I could by crating some contrast between the black hat and the white shirt. Hopefully it will help draw some extra attention to the figure.

I have extensively used Vallejo colours.

cheers,
/Johan

Hey everybody,

Thanks for the positive feedback so far guys!

I hope some of you are enjoying the Euro Militaire show at Folkestone right now (y)
Unfortunately I am not as lucky to join this year. But at least I managed to finish one more figure to my little scene this weekend. It is the old woman, all finished with Vallejo Colors.

all the best,
/Johan
