Hi Guys,

Bit of fun....

How do they know ?

What "methods" are in your repertoire to sneak them in ?

Nothing. The wife is extremely exited when I bring home a new one.
She just says: they look all similar to me.
Above that, she is very happy that I have a hobby that keeps me still, and will keep me at home in my own manscave.
Let's face it: if we go every saturday for the third half at the soccer field we will spend more money then buying a figure in a month.

She heard it on the Grape vine.

Although she doesn't mind me buying she sometimes objects to me painting etc when I should be cutting the grass.

I buy what I want when I want,as does my wife.
However when I used to go to model shows a friend would buy something at normal price and ask the vendor to write on the box of the kit "Special offer" now £25 instead of £35 etc,:LOL:.

Annie has never minded the models, paints, books and paraphernalia-- she says that at least she knows where I am , which is not always the case when I get out for a blat on the bike:cool:. We've always given each other room to breathe, and after 45 years, we still count our blessings. Even my occasional mistakes get forgiven. As do hers:angelic:

Cheers,
Alan

My solution was to stop smoking. Now all the money I would've spent on ciggies goes into a bank account I set up and everything I buy comes out of there. £50 per week soon mounts up ;)

I'm happier, healthier and wealthier and Mrs E is happy that I'm not smoking so doesn't care what the money gets spent on, as long as it isn't ciggies. Not stinking of smoke all the time has other fringe benefits too which are probably best left out of a family friendly forum ;)

Well done Billy! Keep it up.

Paula buy's wizards, fairies and al sorts, of course they are stamps which she then colours (almost like a flat)and she is really good at it and then turns them into cards and calendars.:)

That's real cool Ralph

I used to watercolour the black and white drawings I'd collected from places like Whitby, Robin hood's bay, Bedgellert, York etc.
I must check and see if I have any left unfinished
thanks for that.
all the best

Paul
