I finished two busts this week. One of them is this one, of Kaiser Wilhelm II, in the feldgrau uniform, with the insignia of the 1. Regiment of Guard Grenadiers and the title "Oberste Kriegsherr" (the supreme warlord), his official title as commander of all german armies.
The bust is 1/10 scale and made by UP-Miniaturen, from Ulrich Puchala.
This bust suffered a slight conversion; i wanted to portrait the Kaiser wearing the three major chivalry orders wich he had direct participation.
The original piece was like this:
So, i striped some parts and added (from spare parts) and sculpted the Protector Cross of the Saint John Order (the main protestant chivalry order), the star of the Hohenzollern House Order (the greatest chivalry order of the royal family) and kept the original star of the Order of the Black Eagle (greatest chivalry order of the prussian kingdom) of Ulrich´s sculpture.
