Hello Mike, the figure looks good, I painted this figure some weeks ago, maybe the shadows of the skin looks a bit deep, specially in the legs, also you could add some more texture on metal parts to add more dust effects.
The cape looks very good I like the color...

Mike, one of my favorite figures of 2010 and you've done some excellent painting, great fleshtones and nice work on the cloak. Congratulations.

Cheers Ken

Awesome work Mike. I love him just as he is. The base you chose really goes good with the figure. I can see why this is your favorite.

Mike great work. I also stardef this one about two weeks ago but put it aside after flesh completion. I agree with Ernesto about the legs but I know that the figure is heavily sculpted and it s easy to over do it on the musclature. Great overall result though.

Thanks for the input fellas I really appreciate it. The deep shadows of the muscles I do see what you mean, I probably should re-visit these areas. Dimitry; I can't wait to see yours since I know it will be incredible like all your pieces. I am glad you mentioned the metals Ernesto, I wanted to do more ageing but was afraid to overdo it so now I have the green light to do more. Guy; I'm glad you liked the base since you are the master of choosing bases. Ken; I agree this figure is simply one of the best figures I have ever bought, the sculpting and casting is so superb. i am looking forward to more scale75 releases for 2011. Thank you again!

Oh ma'gosh Mike. . .

Whoa, Nellie. . . Oh ma' gosh Mike:

Lookin' at the photos of your latest figure, . . . I see and start to recognize
that you have grown so much as a figure modeler, in this past year. This
is just a very dramatic presentation. There is so much drama in this figure,
and the way that you have completed it.

I'm not going to go out on a limb and disagree with Ernesto, but I will say
that according to the photos you've provided, and that of course, is all we
have to go on, I am not in agreement with his critique. Just an opinion, you
understand. Not like what ah say is fact. No way.

Love the base, the way the slant of the terrain so much is in concert with the
action and drama of the pose. You did not OVERDO the groundwork. And the
figure just grabs the eye, . . . big time. Congratulations on a very well done
presentation.

PS. Are you planning on going to the IPMS/USA Nats in Omaha this year???
I sure would like to meet you, podna. . . .

Thanks guys for the comments I appreciate the input. Jayhawker, I may have to make that trip if for anything else than to drink some cold beers with you. Tahnks again all.

P.S I have aged the metal some more and it looks a lot better, I'll try and get a new pic up soon.

It is actually a miniature hard to buy because it has many bare points with me personally difficult.
The painting you have done is good enough but as he says and Ernest / Jimian do little more shadows.

Alexandros
