Hi All,

Start my 3rd figure and wanted to show the progress i've made sofar.

It's a royal model figure and i'm going to work a little bit more on the shirt before i start on the trousers and helmet, both will be done in a pea pattern 44 (i hope )

As for the head and hands they have only been highlighted at this moment, so i still have to add the shadows. I hope that the face will improve after the shadowing, i painted a head of another figure and that came out more to my satisfaction then this one. i painted with the same mix but somehow i'm not really happy with the way this face turned out.

So far so good. I just wanted to say that with shading the face will get some dept and character. When that is dry you certanly must do the highlighting and shadowing again i think.
Then you must be satisfied. If not, shade and highlight again.

Further, it looks oke. The dark lines in the shirt are to hard. If it is possible try to fade it out. Maybe highlighting some more will do no harm.

When you must shade the hands, is the dark colour on the inside of the hands the base colour???
Don't forget to highlight the knuckles of the fingers and midhand. They catching the most light, and because they are bended, they look almost white.

But again, a good start and i hope that i gave you some tips.
