Hello Mao!!
Great job man, nice and clean job, and as I said in my previous post I like the way he painted the miniatures!

Cheers
Alexandros

I find something strange in the horse attitude but this is a matter of personal taste. Your paint is excellent. You have just forgotten the red hill of the boots (see the original painting by Gros).

CONGRATULATIONS

Grazie mille!!
Thank you very much!

@ paul
I don't understand. Where is red? Can you help me?
Thanks

Excuse me intrude. Mauro, I think what Paul means when he says red hill is "red heel"( tacco rosso). If you remenber, the figure from Le Cimier, Murat, has red heels in his boots, and is very similar to yours.
Cheers.

I think the finishwork is absolutely beautiful but I also agree with you, Paul. I've been trying to define my thoughts on the matter. I found it unusual that the horse is appears to be an Andalusian wearing a traditional braid and performing a canter pirouette. For the historical period, the horse probably would have been known as an Iberian and the braid developed primarily from bull fighting. I did a quick search and the article I read said the Murat had "the best horses in Europe," so the Iberian is quite possible. I think the idea behind the sculpting of the horse is unique.

Again, very nice painting, absolutely love the detail!

Cheers,
Karrie

Hi to all. I've taken the liberty of uploading a part of the picture, Paul is talking about. Although not distinguish very well, the heels of his boots are red. In any case, it´s known that Murat was a "dandy" and had a varied wardrobe.

Good appreciation Karrie. This horse, at least in the picture, could be Andalusian perfectly.
