Many thanks Pete, I found that docraft Forest Green acrylic paint I had in stock was just the colour I wanted, going by the box art which saved me trying to mix a shade. I would have thought that shade would have been a touch too vivid for 95th, OK with a touch of black mixed in perhaps.

Ian I have New Marengo's mounted Banastre himself in 54mm on my workbench and seeing that you are a bit of a specialist along with Geoff I would like to ask two questions: a)what colour would the sash/tape wrapped around the base of his cap be for the man himself?Green as per Geoff's officer or different? and b) Was he missing two fingers in his right hand?When did he lose them,before or during the AWI?

Hi Oda, thanks for the compliment but I just do a bit of research and I found a painting of Banastre

and I found this one but do not know if this is him but it does show up the helmet colours nicely.

As regards fingers I have no idea but Ian I am sure with help you there.

That's an absolute stoater of a bust, Geoff. It's the little touches that make it stand out, like the highlights on the helmet plume & the small amounts of wear on the edges of the crossbelt. Fine piece of work.
