Good to see you back at the dioramas Marcus and looks like you haven't lost your touch, great idea and execution is looking excellent.
Cheers
Steve

Thank you all for your great comments. Working on the diorama base for the last few days. Adding some detail and turning the scene into a French country track and lane. Still work to do like resculpting the horse hair with hot knife, then finishing off each model before painting.

Brilliant Marcus! I am taking months to convert six figures yet here you are churning out mega conversions in a matter of weeks. The inspiration and realisation of this is fantastic, I really look forward to seeing this progress.

Great work on the car conversion btw(y)
Thank you mate. Your work is also an inspiration. I work quickly to get the ideas out of my head, but it’s not a race so the more methodical guys tend to win the plaudits. I just hope mine pass as good and hopefully inspire others to try something similar. :)

An ideal shape for the base, drawing the eye through the composition. This is a winner. Bummer about the base material! I still use celluclay, which shrinks so it needs back filling, but it has done a good job of drying in a day or two.
Thank you. In the end I stripped out the old PVA/filler mix and used fresh. Dried within a day and looks better to me second time round. :)
