On the Trail to the Little Big Horn, Andrea Miniatures 54mm metal.

The two figures are separate releases from Andrea Miniatures that I always wanted to put together in a little vignette. I decided to place them on slightly different levels just to add a bit more interest. Curly was one of Custer's Crow scouts and survived the battle, but that's a whole 'nother story. :)

The base was created, as usual, with Magic Sculpt putty, small pieces of slate and some commercial grasses.

All painting was done with Vallejo, Reaper and Citadel acrylic paints.

This was a really fun project as I'm definitely a 7th Calvary nut. (y)

Thanks for looking,

Cheers,
Ken

Cracking set piece and presentation and the 'blues' are especially well handled and realistic - great work Ken.

Thanks Nap! I do enjoy "sculpting" the groundwork. It's a fun part of each project for me. :)
