I dont know what this busts looks like, but I would suggest starting by cleaning up the mold lines and then prime it with a light gray color. Then depending on the bust I would probably paint the face, and then go from there.

How about pictures of the bust and a more specific qq=uestion? They are easier to answer then.

Anders comments are a good start. Check for mold lines, clean with a light rub of 000 or finer steel wool, wash and scrub in warm soap and water.

I brush prime with Val foundation white - 2 coats and away you go.

Would love to see the bust and your color plans.

Thanks. Yes it is airbrushed. The Geometric busts are so full of character that they basically paint themselves. I love the subjects.
