WIP Polish Trumpeter

I am a Historex guy (OG), but I found this old Itaieri Soviet cavalry kit in my stash. And for some crazy reason I decided to convert this to a Trumpeter of Winged hussars. Used lots of Historex parts. What do think?

There's no end to what can be done with Historex parts. Nice work!

That was an Italeri rerun of a Zvezda kit if I remember correctly.Italeri had reissued two of the original 4 Soviet Cossacs of Zvezda.Luckily Zvezda has made them available again for they were superb figures.Your work on this is simply amazing and I can't wait to see this beauty painted.

Looks really good, nice conversion work. Just one thought - as the horse seems to be in motion, I would animate the scabbard a bit more. It's unlikely to be simply hanging down at his side. It will also help emphasise the sense of movement......

Thanks for catching that detail. It was just there for the photo. It would have been in that of painting.
