Cheers for that Roger - Ive got the old Almark book Indian Cavalry Rgts that the prints were taken from and my dad has several Indian Army reference books too - I shall have a rummage when Im over there at the weekend!

Steve Theyare Zinnfioguren Rigeger. link below. I thought I would loke to try flats and spoke to Roger who put me on to these. Indian army flats. just couldnt get to grips with them.

So, this is the plan, a nice tight group consisting of Noblemen, Pancerni and musketeers, so tight there's no room for all the other ones I could have included.

Yes, there will be on this one Steve.
In fact I was just deliberating how best to do it. I'm thinking I'll apply static grass to the base of each individual figure, place them in their positions on the base and draw round them, remove and then fill in the gaps with more grass.

Sounds like a plan - Ive started to use the scenic mats from Mig - they seem expensive, initially, but you can get loads of figure bases from one mat!
