Joe/Barrie,. As I said I have been unable to use the 'Quote', aspect off bat! for a good few months! However there is a work around ! .. Its a bit of a muck about but usable.

If you wish to 'Quote', someone! .. Go to the tool-bar at the top.

At the top right you have, Your user name, Inbox, Alerts, and Log out.

Click on your user name, and scroll down to 'Preferences'. and click that

A pop up box will appear, .. Un-tick the 'Rich Edit' box and Save, the changes at the bottom.

Now go to whichever thread you wanted to use, and try the Quote option, it should work.

The Downside to this is that you will lose the use of 'Smilies'.

However, once you have posted a response, you can go back and reverse the option, (remember to save it.)

Go back to your sent post, and edit it with any smilies, you wish.

I think it's terribly unfair and just not right that the forum has a whole editing function directed at just one member......it's just not fair to pick on Rich like that.

Ok Mark, now on another note but, within the subject matter of this thread. I sent a PM to Kaz a couple of days ago and not yet received a reply. I don't expect anyone to immediately reply to a PM, but if I notice that the intended receiver is and has been on line, I wonder if the inbox alert is working. Any ideas?

How long ago did you send the PM ? .. If was maybe, Saturday, then it hasn't gone through and is lost in the ether of 'cyber-space'. If was before then, I think it a case of delayed response from Kaz!

I knocked out numerous PM's,... all where not received by the recipient (s) .. Try again!
