Where you able to do this before ? (Not this aspect, but in general)? As neither can I without, disabling the 'Rich Text Editor', under your personal preferences! . I have had to do this for months!.

I should not have used the word 'yet', as actually I was able to do so in the past up to the time that I bought a new laptop. I'm not that computer savvy and therefore don't know if its really a computer issue.

I am not sure what was the scope of the problem caused by the tapatalk upgrade, but I don't think it would cause a removal of existing conversations.
