Thanks Kev, I and the vignette will be at Yeovil, hope you can make it there!

I'm going to build some aircraft for light relief but there will be more figures and vignettes on the way. I'm trying to develop a consistent style with acrylics on figures. I've made progress but I still need a lot more practice.

I would like to add a note of thanks for everyone on this thread that offered help and advice, I've just been reading back through it and I realised how helpful it all was. Most of the advice has been incorporated or at least pushed me in the right direction. Thanks Planeteers all!

I think the composition overall. The advice from everyone helped me focus this to tell the story, although I did get the angle of one of the figures a bit wrong when I put everything together. But I don't think people will notice. Some of the animations could be improved but overall I am happy with this as a first major conversion effort.

My use of acrylics is improving, although I still have a tendency to highlight/shade everything without paying enough attention to how the light is falling on the figures, especially when they are all in the final vignette. Like they say, every day is a school day....:)

Good reflections Nigel.
Am sure we will see more of these challenging projects in future.
We will be here to learn with you.
